Week 7
Inclusive learning and teaching
"Inclusive learning and teaching in higher education
refers to the ways in which pedagogy, curricula and
assessment are designed to engage students in learning
that is meaningful, relevant, and accessible to all.”
Basically on what I have learned in class are
1.Voice Typing
I can type and edit by speaking in Google Docs or in Google
Slides speaker notes.
• Tip: This feature is only available in Chrome browsers.
2.Screen Recording
• Free Tool for Creating Screencasts
Free Cam
Easily create screencasts, edit recorded videos, and
upload to YouTube. No watermark or time limits.
Free Features:
• Select a recording area
• Record your voice over
• Record system sounds
• Highlight your mouse
• Delete unnecessary parts
• Remove background noise
3.Screenshot
Snipping Tool is a Microsoft Windows screenshot utility included in Windows Vista and later. It can take still screenshots of an open window, rectangular areas, a free-form area, or the entire screen. Snips can then be annotated using a mouse or a tablet, stored as an image file or an MHTML file, or e-mailed.
4.Immersive reader
The Immersive Reader has been on of the most popular
tools to help with inclusive reading. We have some great
resources to help you learn about the Immersive
Reader. These include:
All About Immersive Reader - for a deep dive demo,
tips, tricks and more
Immersive Reader partners - to see which apps have
already integrated the Immersive Reader
I think, these are very beneficial and I can use all of these functions when I become a teacher and need to conduct online class session.
